Location is everything
Along the southern range of the Santa Lucia Mountains, Parvaneh Vineyards is strategically located within the rolling hills of Paso Robles. This unique locale creates a perfect microclimate partially due to the "butterfly effect” that can only be found in Central California. Hot sunny days and chilly nights are to thank for creating a perfectly balanced, juicy grape.
In addition to ideal atmospheric conditions, the natural terroir of Parvaneh Vineyards consists of nutrient-dense soils that have been derived from solid bedrock, weathered granite, and marine sedimentary rock of the Miocene-age Monterey Formation featuring calcareous shales, sandstone and volcanic earth dating back several millennia. This uncommonly rich terra firma provides the foundation for our vines unwavering strength and voracity to produce a consistent bounty of exquisite fruit.
Harvested with care
When harvest time falls upon us, Parvaneh's succulent grapes are prudently selected by our farmers and scrupulously earmarked by our vintner prior to being handpicked from the vine. After an uncompromising sorting process and artisanal fermentation stage, our press wine is gently aged in French Oak barrels and left to do what it does best in order to produce its heavenly nectar of the gods.
This accolade was presented to Parvaneh Vineyards earlier this year to honor our rich and delectable Petite Sirah. Parvaneh received 92 points in this competition.
